A cut blade alone will turn in the lock but will not start the engine. The transponder inside the key has to be introduced to the immobiliser before the ECU will allow fuel and ignition.
We connect to the OBD port, read the vehicle security data, and write your new key into the immobiliser. On vehicles that require a security PIN, we can read or calculate it as part of the job. Bought a key online? Bring it to us and we will code it, provided it is the correct part for your vehicle.
